Weekly Update

Another week, another off-market sale on the Island. This time it was for a large first floor unit in the Winthrop House. The unit had been on and off the market in the brick building on the ocean and Worth Avenue. It ended up trading at $8.2M after multiple stints on the market over $10M.

There were a number of new listings to hit the market as well. A North End house across from the ocean is asking $39.5M and a new construction house is asking just under $17M. That one is also in the North End. A pair of townhouses hit the market, both asking over $9M. Lastly, three condos were listed for sale. All of those were between $1.5M and $2.5M.

There were some notable pending deals this week. A house on El Brillo which was asking over $20M went into contract. Additionally, I condo asking over $10M in the 400 building did the same. A lower priced deal occurred at 240 El Dorado which was asking $6.995M.

Did you know…

The Winthrop House on Worth Avenue is the only condo on the Island with a tunnel to the beach.
