A significant number of houses were listed this week as we are about to creep into November. The five houses listed provide more inventory for this season’s buyers. Those buyers will have to have deep pockets as the average listing price was over $28M this week. The most notable new listing is at 1620 S Ocean Boulevard where a renovated oceanfront home is asking $59.5M. This comes just a week after a vacant oceanfront parcel on the other side of town sold for $58M.
In addition to listing activity, a Phipps Estates house landed under contract with an asking price of $21.5M. Townhouse activity has continued to thrive with a pending and closed sale on Sunset Avenue. 180 Sunset Avenue is pending at $13.9M. Directly across the street, 175 Sunset Avenue closed for $11.7M.
